TODAY

17th December - All are most welcome at the School Nativity Play and Carol Service here in Church at 4pm

GAUDETE SUNDAY

Gaudete means “rejoice”. Today we light the pink candle and the clergy wear rose-coloured vestments to emphasise our joy that Christmas is near. This day reminds us of the joy that is to come and serves, amid this season of penance, as a ‘break’ when we recall the hope we have because of the coming of Our Lord Jesus
